Accomplished senior management executive with eighteen years experience in branded athletic footwear, apparel, accessories and equipment for such companies as Nike, Easton Sports, TaylorMade-adidas Golf, and Sport Brands Intl. A proven performer who moves easily from vision to implementation and follow-through. Strengths include business management, marketing, product marketing, product creation, operations, RD&D, strategic planning, new business development/growth, P&L management, sourcing, and manufacturing.

Founder and one of two principals of the New England based product design firm, Rocketfish. Clients include: Puma, Quicksilver, Prince, New Balance, DC Shoes, Reebok, Steve & Barry’s, Keds, Nike, EMS, Burton, Gravis, Nixon Watches, and Xcel Wetsuits. Before Rocketfish, TJ designed footwear for Nike and Fila. While at Nike, he worked exclusively on running and track and field footwear. His successes include the 97 & 98 Triax Series, the 2000 Olympic track spike, and the Airmax IV. He worked directly with world class sprinters including Marion Jones, Maurice Green, Carl Lewis, and Michael Johnson.
Ashley is the second principal behind Rocketfish. He spent five years at Nike, two as a designer for Nike Vision, and the balance designing performance footwear. Prior to Rocketfish, Ashley was integral in the launch of Kaenon, the polarized sport eyewear brand.
Ashley and TJ recently received international recognition for designing the Starbury 1, Stephon Marbury’s new performance shoe for Steve & Barry’s.
